COURTYARD GARDEN DESIGN SYDNEY
Courtyard gardens in Sydney are often limited for space. This inner city courtyard garden was no exception.

We turned a small outdoor space into an outdoor room where every bit of space was utilised for garden and outdoor living.

To make the most of the limited space - we only used the boundary of the space with the following features:

BUILT IN SEATING
- Built in garden beds with space effective vertical plants that will grow for privacy screening.
- Built in timber seating combined with custom made outdoor cushioning.

OUTDOOR MIRROR
- A large outdoor mirror to visually expand the space and reflect the planting on the opposite wall.

NEW PAINT COLOUR
- A monotone light - mid paint colour on all the walls to make the space look larger than it was.

CONCRETE FLOORING
- Uniform new concrete flooring suitable for an inner city industrial look. It was a clean and practical surface that was consistent with the design brief.

OUTDOOR FURNITURE
- Introduced an outdoor sofa to provide more outdoor seating and create an outdoor room effect.
